Crusader Club scrimmage

One knows the football season is just a week away when the annual Crusader Club scrimmage is being held.

The annual event will be held Thursday, Aug. 23 at Sellers Park as part of a fundraiser for the Crusader Club. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m.

The hamburger meal is $5.

The Crusader Patty Wagon has a new owner. Larry Pacey sold the patty wagon to the First National Bank of Wellington which will be grilling the hamburgers this season for the five home football games.

While attending the event, the public can also purchase season tickets.

Also, don’t forget, there will be “White Out” T-shirts on sale for $10.

The T-shirts will be worn at the second football game against Buhler on Friday, Sept. 7.

All proceeds will go toward the high school football program.
